A Center for Homestudy and Placement Services offers the following adoption services in Ohio along with the associated fee for each service. Please note that fee is due before services are provided. Fee is subject to change without notice.
FEE STRUCTURE
DOMESTIC ADOPTIONS FEE
1. Registration & Application processing FEE: $50.00
2. Adoption Training: No fee for our homestudy families.
$100.00 for training for families receiving only training.
3. Adoption Home study Fee: $1000.00
4. Expedited homestudy: $1,600.00 (completed within 7-10 days of paperwork completion including receipt of Central Registries)
5. Post placement Supervision: $150.00 per visit (Infant only) Most families adopting from the foster care system do not pay this fee.
6. Prefinalization Report: FEE: $275.00 per report
7. Finalize adoption in court: None Fee is paid directly to attorneys handling finalization. We can refer you to attorneys who specialize in adoptions.
8. Transfer of homestudy: No fee to transfer to another agency.
9. Travel fee: Check with agency, as this does not apply to everyone.
10. *Homestudy update: $500.00 11. Homestudy Addendum: $250.00
12. Court appearances: $100.00
13: Placement of child from another state admin. fee: $250.00 ( applies to infant adoptions and private adoptions)
INTERNATIONAL ADOPTIONS FEE
1. Registration and application processing fee: $50.00
2. Homestudy fee: $1000.00
3. Post Placement Fee: $175.00

1. A homestudy in Ohio can be updated twice.
2. This is our basic fee schedule. Please contact the agency to receive a complete list of services and fee.
3. Search and match fee is charged based on the age of the child matched with the family, ranging from $500.00 to $1,100.00 and does not apply to all adoptions.
